Madison Reflection
by Eila Algood

Golden light shining above
You cast aglow on this world with love
The air is still, the wind asleep
The trees at attention at your feet
Icy snow was silvery white
Until it reflected your brilliance tonight
Yellow gold to orangy red
Wispy blue sky above my head
A moment to stop, to see, to stare
Breathing in the cold, crisp air
Thank you kind light, cool air on my face
Thank you my eyes and my sense of grace

It’s unmistakable and inconceivable
The oneness of us all!
