His fire, his words
loved me.
I miss his touch
that went so deep,
He filled me up with everything.

Now he is gone, like the year.
A shadow on my heart,
like a ghost floating by
losing its hold on me.

I want my lover to return to me.
I need his energy.
Just cast aside my fear,
let him take me inside.

I want to build a place to go
for only us to know.
This romantic tie of the heart
carrying on into the future
his words upon my soul.
