Life lessons learned from my father-Terzanelle form. (2nd place: Stretch your Style)
I can hear the sweet melody
drifting from his violin,
the life lessons remaining inside of me.

I imagined the fire burning within
with the power of contemplation and solitude,
drifting from his violin.

A stoic man, my memory renewed.
The sinfonia played years ago continued,
with the power of contemplation and solitude.

The melody that time rescued
existing in my soul and space
the sinfonia played years ago continued.

Thirty years gone, but time can't erase
the muse riding on, the music playing still,
existing in my soul and space.

The violin is mute but my heart is filled--
the muse riding on, the music playing still.
I can hear the sweet melody--
the life lessons remaining inside of me.
