Persian:  Dosh az janaab e Aasif paek e bashaarat aamad
              Kaz hazrat e suleiman ishrat isharat aamad
Urdu:      Dargah e Aasifi say paek e bashaarat aaay
              Lay aesh ki suleimaan say bhee ishaarat aaay

English:=== Solomon's courier has finally come
                  With blessings of the premier of his kingdom
                                                -

Persian:  Khaak e wujood e ma ra az aab e baada gil kun
              Wiraan sara e dil ra gah e imaarat aamad 
Urdu:      Khaak e wojood maeri baday say goondh aisie
              Wiraan sara e dil ka waqt e imaarat aaay

English:=== In my core of being pour some wine
                  To mend the wounded heart of mine
                                                  -

Persian:  In sherh e baynihaayat kaz husn e yaar guftand
              Harfeest kaz hazaaraan ander ibaarat aamad
Urdu:      Tashrih e baytahaasha ji husn e yaar ki hay
              Ik harf bhee naheen hay jo dar ibaarat aaay

English:=== Whatever is said in praise of my sweetie
                  Can't do justice to her grace and beauty
                                                  -

Persian:  Aebam bapoosh zinhaar, aey khirqa e mayaaloud
              Kan pakdaaman in ja behr e ziyarat aamad
Urdu:      A dilq e baada aalood ker maeri aebposhi
              Jab yaan wo pakdaaman behr e ziyarat aaay

English:=== Oh, cover my flaws with a mystic's gown
                  Or she will think that I am a clown
                                                  -

Persian:  Imrooz ja e her kas paida shawad zay khoobaan
              Kan mah e majlisaara andar sadaarat aamad
Urdu:      Houn maand us kay aagay saaray haseen chehray
              Ger mah e majlisaara ander sadaarat aaay

English:=== Oh, how she lowers the women's pride
                  When over the beauties she does preside
                                                  -

Persian:  Bar takht e Jam keh taajash mehraab e aaftaab ast
              Himmat nigar keh moray baa in hiqaarat aamad
Urdu:      Himmat toe us ki daekho, cherhti hay takht e Jam per
              Ik chuinti keh jis per sab ko hiqaarat aaay

English:=== And admire I so much a lowly ant
                  When a king on throne it tries to supplant
                                                  -

Persian:  Az chashm e shoukhash aey dil, eimaan e khud nigahdaar
              Kan jaadoo e kamaankash bar azm e ghaarat aamad
Urdu:      Us chashm e shoukh say ham kaisay bachaen dil ko
              Jab jaadoo e kamaankash baa azm e ghaarat aaay

English:=== O heart, beware! You're going to die
                  When hit by the dart of her saucy eye
                                                  -

Persian:  Daryaast majlis e sheh,daryaab waqt o bashnaas
              Haan in ziyanraseeda waqt e tijaarat aamad
Urdu:      Darya e majilis e sheh bakhshay hazaar gohar
              Jo ik ziyaanraseeda waqt e tijaarat aaay

English:=== The court of the king is like a sea
                  It's full of pearls wherever you see
                                                -

Persian:  Aaloodaee to HAFIZ, faizay zay shah dar khah
              Kan unsar e samaahat behr e tahaarat aamad
Urdu:      Aaloodgi e HAFIZ ho paak faiz e sheh say
              Darbaar maen agar wo behr e tahaarat aaay

English:=== O HAFIZ, your stains you cannot erase
                  Without the help of the royal grace
