Sitting in the poppy field of death
Flowering droplets of blood rife
Contemplating endless sleep
Sick of living these lies
Weary of the pain
That will not fade
Heartbeat slows
My fears
Turn
To tears
Rivers flow
I take the blade
Slit open my vein
Watching blood as it cries
Tears turn crimson whilst I weep
Lamenting my meaningless life
Relishing thoughts of my final breath

(Syllables in the first part = 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 and then this is reversed in the second part, which is a mirror to the first, with each line rhyming with the corresponding line).
