OUR SIN
1. Why should tonight be any different? "'Cause it's not any other night" is your reply. My response is not worth voicing: Wow, that's good! Deep too, and well conceived. There are no truths that apply, so what I'll do is apply my thoughts... You make your pain known and obvious for me. And you stare out the window, as if there's information there, for me, to be gleaned! And then a tear which I know to be sincere! winds it's sad way past your nose, on it's melancholic trek to your chin, which I match with my own sigh of loneliness and sorrow! 2. Yesterday we sat and talked. Well, really, I sat- you talked- and you sat. When was the last time you remember when we both had something to say? Beyond the stating of But This Is How It Is To Be Me! Why can neither of us see in the same moment that all we have between us is the love we once ignited? 3. God, but you're a wonderful, a beautiful soul! Am I not? 4. Our sin, if we have sinned, lies not in what we have done or not done. Our sin was that we loved blindly!
