The Shepherd and His Flock
A Minute Poem for the Kansaspoet Contest
Rated:

Avg Rating: (6)
The shepherd takes his flock to graze,
in summer days,
by mountain streams
where forage teems.

In colder seasons, they go back
to valley rack
and shelter from
the snows to come.

Through all the seasons, they survive,
and even thrive,
in harmony
with God’s decree.
