You were my guardian angel,
you would have done anything for me.
I loved you more than I could tell,
It was you who set me free.

I never loved anyone more than I loved you,
In the worst times, you saw me through.
I never knew how I loved you until you were no longer there,
It made me proud that I had someone who seemed to care.

When God made you, He gave me my guardian angel,
I didn't know what would have happened if you had not come.
You welcomed me into your heart and into your home.
You were always loved, I am happy to tell.
