Standing amid the deep fern and brackens,
I peer into your gaze and meet the dark. Sage moss buoys our forms, as twilight darkens, more colors of our love explode and spark. Above us, gods in heaven, slumberous, wake; flood green and blue aurora, for our joy. Flesh shivers, close pressed in bliss to partake, a Scottish show of rainbows for this boy. Lain among bruised purples of heather, I turn to catch the glint of your bright smile, a happy cure against the gray weather; your love of many colors does beguile. Oh, rainbows cast much joy, but don't match you; Our love, and all its colors, gentle hue Shakespearean style sonnet: ABAB CDCD EFEF GG Written for consideration in:
