DON'T BLAME THE FATE: a sonnet
[ Do good to all but never do expect That all will ever do good unto you. Others' feelings you should always respect, But don't expect it from the others too. Selfishness is inherent in all men; We must learn to transcend this evil trait. We are all bestowed with paper and pen; Good or bad it is for us to create. Canvas in front of us, in hand the brush; We can paint life as we deem is the best. We can build it and we can also crush; It's for us to pass or fail in the test. So harken all, never do blame the fate. Your fate is what you yourself do create. M C Gupta 10 January 2008
