Lady Envy scrutinises every soul Through her slanted hazel eyes, Flexing her long fingers In anticipation. Gliding effortlessly on emerald heels, Her jade velvet dress swishing, She seeks exposed spirits, Vowing to paint them green. She seizes an essence in her sinful grip, An evil grin twists her face As she makes a heart swell With bursting jealousy. Icy fingers touch where they are forbidden, Spreading burning desire Through unprotected veins, Staining red blood with olive. Her attention turns to the weakening mind In which she then plants a seed; Aching bitterness will Bloom into resentment. With that wicked grin still contorting her face She moves to her next victim, Flexing her long fingers In anticipation. (24 lines)
