To capture lightning in a bottle
and chase a shooting star,
to keep a firm grip on the throttle
and wander ever far,
to ride a bullet through the fire
and see what can't be seen,
to be a twister spinning higher
then chase an evil queen,
to surf a molten lava stream
into the dark abyss,
to hear a dreaded Banshee scream
or taste a witch's kiss,
to take a rocket ride to Mars
and live there for a year,
to dream our dreams beyond the stars
and never show our fear,
to cross the wastelands of the mind
aboard a laser beam,
to live out time as clocks unwind
just once upon a dream,
to hear the ocean as it roars
waves crashing endlessly,
to be an eagle as it soars
above the deepest sea,
to know there is but so much time
to finish what we start,
to know we share sweet life sublime
from birth until we part.

to surf a molten lava stream
in the glow of a darken night
hear a dreade banshee scream
feel the sting of a vampire's bite
take a rocket ride to Mars
live there for a year
leave a light beyond the stars
never show our fear
