Red White and Blue
When it comes to Americans its Red, White and Blue.

We the people...I know that means something a little different than it did when it was written. Something a little better. I know because all the blood that has been spilled defending freedom and this great nation's values was and still is red. Our military is an excellent example of Americans being Americans. Red or yellow. black or white. From the suburbs to the projects, when the fighting starts, the colors are only red, white and blue just as it should be. But here at home it is hard to maintain that constant mind set. There is just too much ignorance on all sides of the fence. Ignorance is a mighty enemy and hard to fight. Change is also a hard thing to come by. I believe it is not a hopeless cause though.

When the towers fell on that fateful September day the entire country stopped being a country of races and we all became Americans, if only briefly. But that is what makes this country so great. Sure, we're a country that has racial problems. We have many other prejudices as well. I guess we're not really good at remembering who we are. But when it really matters, we become Americans and we are very, very good at that.

There are no other peoples on this planet that can generate the kind of man-power and shear force than the United States of America. Every other country and Nation knows that. It is the reason we are the number one super power in the world and when it has to, that power knows no colors except Red, White and Blue. The very principals this nation were built upon are improving all the time and I believe it is the reason that, someday hopefully very soon, there will be no racism in America and we will all truly be Americans, one nation, under God, indivisible.

God bless us and watch over us until that day comes. In the meanwhile I hope we can all remember that when push comes to shove, we will fight together as one people for freedom and the rights of Americans and others weaker than ourselves, everywhere. As a great American President once said, No one can kill Americans and brag about it. No one. We the People, of all descents. Americans and proud of it.
