The wedding pictures adorn the room
of John and me, married this week as we smiled and danced down the aisle, where Sally, Mary and Sue-my bridesmaids dressed in pink and blue with red ribbons too, formed a circle to celebrate with our parents and guests, who were crying, with joy as we left for the honeymoon. But no-“As you all well know, this was not so”. As I danced down the aisle, I tripped and fell onto Mrs. Brown who thought I was clowning around inside my wedding gown with a frown that frightened my poor husband, John who was trying to hide from sight as his face turned red with embarrassment. Then he stumbled into the water basin that was full of water-water every where waiting for the baptism that would follow in the later service which now had to be cancelled for the lack of water to be found. I need not remind you, but do apologize for the terrible behavior of my bridesmaids who unknown to me had, had a drink or two to calm their nerves for the ceremony when they unfortunately pulled on my gown to steady their steps from falling into the pews. Suffice to say, John and I will send you the photographs for you to see, what fools we were to invite you to this pitiful display of a wedding gone wrong that should have been light and gay. What more can I say?
