Passion
A poem for my wife, Christy

Entranced by your eyes
No will to resist
I find myself pulled deeper
Deep within your soul

The fires consume me
The trance persists
I cease to be
I'm no longer whole

As if molten steel
We swirl, we meld
The heat of our passion
Burning brighter than the sun

As we draw apart
A part of me is held
In the inmost reaches
