High Wire
In the crossfire of the bright lights Standing on the high wire No safety net Nothing to catch her. She walks a line of insanity Holding her breath Daring her life With one more escapade. Spellbound audience in a hush Awe and disbelief Will her charm last forever? Standing on a high wire Balancing it all out Up and down Nothing to catch her. How will her story end? The show is over The crowds walk away. She is left standing on the High wire with no one to catch her. 1/22/08 Michelle Klear
