Loving Me
Soft hair long and flowing The cheeks that are so fair Those eyes that are glowing Those little ears from within your hair The smile with those ruby lips The perfectly shaped face There is weight on those hips But that is no disgrace I long to love me true To see all my beauty To mend my own heart too To make me so happy To be able to take the clothes From off my forgotten body I will admire myself down to my toes Not to be naughty I have not taken time To show myself how I should feel That I can truly shine And make my heart to heal I will learn to love me now Every morning I look into the glass I need to know how To love me and protect me at last I can’t love anyone for real Until I truly love me I can not make others feel Love until I love the reflection that I see.
