In My World

In My World


I am only human--
Having my own scopes and limitations
The same as a free bird--
Not wanting any restrictions

I met you
And the pieces of the puzzle felt solved
I love you
Around you, my world forever revolved

Still I'm only human
A girl without a freedom of choice
I was locked up inside
And they took away my voice

And now as I stay here--
In this so-called castle, built with limpid lies
I write this note to you--
Containing the truth found in my eyes

I hope it will reach you
Before I say goodbye to this world of pain
I will go to a world filled with peppermint
It's wonderful smell will mix with the rain

And in that world I will be free
You and I will be together
The red thread of fate will turn crimson
As our love continues forever

Yet all these are dreams
They will never come true no matter what I do
For eternity, I will lay in slumber
As this white rose withers, I'll still have memories of you



I don't really like this poem as much as I did when I first wrote it...
So, I put this on "Private" for a while and decided I'll edit it and turn it into something I will like, again.
It's 11:51 PM here, and I finished editing/re-writing a couple of minutes ago.
The edited version though, turned out to be COMPLETELY different to this one.
It feels more like a NEW composition with the same title...
So, I figured I'll put this one up again as "Public", and take it off my portfolio permanently in a few days, or at least once reviews for the "other" one come in. By the way, if you wanted to read it, the NEW one is this "In My World"
