Assignment 2: Use the picture and the following prompt, written by Marlena, to write a poem.

"I dance in the agility of all life. Giving into my most inner needs which some may see as illusions. But they don't know me."

I dance-
in the agility of all life,
in the fragility of my emotions,
which some may see as illusions.
But they don’t know me.

I dance-
giving into my most inner needs ,
giving into a sinner’s desires,
which some may see as mistakes.
But they don't know me.

I dance.
Waltzing through murky weeds,
I leap over temptation’s fires,
And take a bow before the reeds of illusion.
Muddied, bloodied, and bruised
is what they see,
but they don’t know me.
.
In the agility of all life,
I dance.
