Making poetry sing is a confusing thing.
Take, for instance, this very one.
It makes my brain sizzle and sting.

And sometimes its not very fun.
If I’m to find a rhyme for this line,
Providing you’ll pardon the pun.

I’d better start flying and really start trying,
If I want to create a great read.
Being a bard is hard, there can be no denying.

The words will need to be freed.
From that place above and behind my face.
It would be a great deed, indeed.

If I can make a case and keep up the pace.
And if I can get into the swing.
Of writing poetry like an ace in this place.
