...My Guardian Angel...
This is a poem i wrote after my Grandma passed away.

You taught me how to swim,
how to ride a bike.
How to rake the leaves,
when to take a bite

Told me to always say please,
if ever i were to ask.
and to end it with a thank you,
no matter how long it last.

Always took me shoppoing,
and sent me letters in the mail.
A little note was always included,
even if it seemed to be delivered by a snail.

Phone calls ever so often,
to see if i was well in health.
Even thought your time was testing you,
you never gave up the wealth.

Majority of my memories with you,
and now you're with the Lord.
My guardian angel, with me always,
in sunshine, or if rain poured.

Looking through old photographs,
as if it were not long ago.
you gave me guidance grandma,
and never will I be alone.

I will always be grandma's little girl,
and you'll always be holding my hand.
Wait up for me grandma,
I'll keep your memory alive
right here in my heart.
