The Monster
All new writing

All the midnight dreams drift away,
like wisps of smoke, caught in a haunted wind,
of forgotten promises.
The fantasy, shattered into fragmented pieces,
upon the jagged rocks, off the cliffs edge.
Washed away by the tides of a bloodied moon,
are the secret wishes of a lonely child.
Locked away in a castle.
A fortified prison of ones own design.
Fear comes to light as the chambers are
emptied once more.
Bringing forth a new understanding
of the Monster that whispers at the door...
