I step boldly along the path set before me.
Like a horse wearing blinders I can see only forward, unaware of what passes me by. I follow the path through the night, armed with only a flashlight. Yet my way is illuminated by the beam directly in front of my feet. I am not afraid of what I cannot see. Any bends or forks in the road I handle as they come into view, but sometimes I find myself back where I started, only to make the right choice the next time. I continue onward through boon or consequence. Every step, trudging over sharp rock or wading through soft grass, brings me that much closer to self-actualization.
