It was a dreary morning and Dylan would usually be happy to have a snow day, but his broken arm got in the way of sledding.  "Play with me, Mommy," Dylan pleaded, clumsily emptying a bucketful of plastic dinosaurs on the bed.

Rubbing the sleep from her eyes, Mommy answered, "Mommy doesn't feel well this morning, Sweetie.  Let's watch a movie instead."

"Land Before Time, Mommy?" he asked.

"Ok," she yawned.  You find it and I'll be down to put it in for you.  She rolled over and tugged the comforter tight, sending dinosaurs scurrying across the bed and onto the floor.

"Mommy," Dylan whined, "you threw my dinosaurs on the floor!"  The little boy picked up the toys and carried the bucket to the living room.

After a moment he called, "Mommmmy..." he waited for an answer.  "Mommmmy!  I have the movie!"

Mommy came down the stairs with pillows and a big blanket.

"Why don't you feel good, Mommy?" Dylan asked, concerned.  His big blue eyes locked on to hers and he patted her hand.

Mommy rubbed her growing belly and smiled at her son.  "Mommy's going to have a baby," she announced, ruffling his blond hair.

"I thought I was your baby," Dylan said sadly.  "Is it because I'm broken?  Is that why you need a new one, Mommy?"  Tears sprang to Dylan's eyes and he wiped them away with the back of his plump hand and glared at his hated cast.

"No, no, no, Angel," Mommy said, holding him close.  "You're not broken at all; you're perfect.  Daddy and I love being your Mommy and Daddy so much that we wanted to have another baby to love."

Mommy rocked Dylan for a moment until he squirmed and pushed away.  With a glimmer in his eye he said, "Do you think it will be a baby dinosaur?"

         Mommy laughed.
