| Breathless, I step into that vast unknown, That realm of love that held a place for me- I lost my way, 'tho I was often shown, Because I dwelt in my past misery. She knew the way, she had been there before- Her heart was innocent with youth and life; She took my hand and led me through the door, And entering, I left my doubt and strife. In faith, I took each step, slowly walked in Towards the Reality which knows no bounds, And all was new and fresh-had always been, Eternal in sweet colors, gentle sounds; Love was the truth that I had always sought- And love is found only when Self is naught.
