Grinning All the While.
A poem about life and love.

Grinning all the while.
Glowing like a new born child.
Eyes exotic, eyes wild.
Driving mile after mile.
Just sitting for a while.
Abiding in the surf,
Diving in the turf.
Truth so often hurts.
Love is what exerts.
Serve it up for dessert.
No tumbling jumbling lies.
No cleverly concealed allies.
No glances chanced as sly.
Truth often unites,
Only after it divides.
A lover's kiss is not to be,
Wantonly missed.
No dessert.
Missing the dish.
Dandelions in the sun.
Take one.
Blow one.
Make a wish.
It will come around again.
Say “Hi” to the clowns,
Which long to surround,
Each moment with beauty,
Which can not be faked.
Love can only replicate.
Laughter hesitates.
Trying out the ired out.
Trying out the tired out.
Free thoughts can never,
Be hired out.
