You make me cry
When I give you subtle clues About my dreams and fantasies; Choose one. But you don't choose. I try to make it clear, And help you understand. I might as well be using Language from another land. You make me cry When you don't recognize I'm feminine, not masculine. Don't treat me like one of the guys. A man, you come from Mars. Woman, I am of Venus. We live on Earth together. But there's miles and miles between us. You make me cry When you won't take a chance. If you don't ask, or take my hand We'll never get to dance. A penny for your thoughts, I say. Please tell me this and that. There's things a woman wants to know. For yours I seldom pay. You make me cry When you don't understand.
