Tears on my pillow and fresh in my heart,
Envelope memories, here in the dark. All futures are lost, now we are apart. Red, puffy, morning breaks through to my eyes Swift rising dawn comes to mourn our demise Oh, time crawls relentless, mocking our lives Now, silently greeted by empty rooms Moments relived as foul memory looms You heard, considered, consigned love its tomb Pleas for forgiveness fall deaf on your ears I can't say sorry enough, it appears Love goes so quickly - I'm left with my tears. Lost are the chances for me to redeem Our union ripped, of hope, at the seams With only my pillow to soothe my dreams.
