Do you know the desolation
Living in a killer's mind

Do you know the desolation of a killer's mind?
Could you imagine their wants, needs or malicious thoughts?
I talk not of killers of any desperate kind,
i talk of those who enjoy the kill, for reasons naught,
Of individuals who lack that conscience of men.
Abandoned and lonely souls who suffer constantly.
In their deep darkness no sign of sorrow, no amends.
They accept their sordid, hate filled fate complacently.

Accepting joy in the damned pleasures of demons
How does one live a life like theirs? How does one survive?
They're Lost in their own minds, lacking solid reason.
Their helpless poor poor victims unable to revive,
they asked not for this fate yet were granted their demise.
The killer felt it his duty to kill viciously,
to cause pain and death and allow none to them chastise.
Yet disturbingly they go ahead and take trophies.

I do not understand these creatures of death and pain,
I cannot comprehend their deeds or motivations.
Still they exist among us simple, discreet and plain.
We are to blame, our societies and our nation.
For we give rise to these creatures of danger and pain.
We are responsible only in part for their crimes,
nature takes It's random course and sets them on their plane.
Death is the only cure for them, we must draw the line.
