Persian:  Ishq e to bala e jaan basandast
              Yak khanda az an dahaan basandast
Urdu:      Ishq gercheh bala e jaan hay bohat
              Jaanfiza per wo dilsitaan hay bohat

English:=== Though this love is killing me
                  Her smiling face is a source of glee
                                                -

Persian:  Yak gardish e chashm e to ba masti
              Fitna ba hama jahaan basandast
Urdu:      Naazish e chashm e mast say taeri
              Shour o aashoub der jahan hay bohat   

English:=== With those lovely enchanting eyes
                  Everyone she can mesmerize
                                                    -

Persian:  Bayhooda ba sayd mee zani teer
              An chaashni e kamaan basandast
Urdu:      Aashiqoun ko bina chalaay teer
              Sayd kerti teri kamaan hay bohat

English:=== The deadly bow of her lovely brow
                  Escape a prey, it doesn't allow

Persian:  Taegh az paye kushtanam cheh haajit
              Yak naaz bakun hamaan basandast
Urdu:      Jaan laenay kay wastay maeri
              Naz hi aek maei jaan hay bohat

Persian:  Ger mun dil e gumshuda nayaabam
              Bar hamchu toay gumaan basandast
Urdu:      Dhoundhta jab houn gumshuda dil ko
              Tujh pay hota mujhay gumaan hay bohat

              Ma ra gham e an jahaan basandast
Urdu:      Bhaej aey churkh aur bala na koie
              Dil ko maeray gham e jahaan hay bohat

              An nargis e natawaan basandast
Urdu:      Natawaan ker na gham say KHUSRO ko 
              Wo to pehlay hi natawaan hay bohat
