The Silence of The Night
Rated:

This item requires reviews with ratings.
In the silence of the night,
the mind can wander at will.
Going down through the alleys,
skirting around painful
memories, that threaten
to consume you,
in their hunger for release.

You scream silently,
an echo, resounding again
and again, to bounce
off the caverns of
your mind.
Darkness covering the
cobwebs, that cling
to your soul, holding
your memories fast.

Through the nightmare
of your mind,
there appears a
glimmer of light.
A shadow that beckons
you toward it, crystallizing
into your creator
Your God, who
banished the past
with the crucifixation
of His Son.
On the cross a long time ago.
