Winter in at my Grandparent’s House
Remembering the winter’s of my childhood

The Cottonwood Tree’s
brown leaves clap
as the first snow falls.

On Christmas morning
snow ice cream
served after the gifts.

Constellations of
winter shine
as the New Year comes.

On the front lawn snow
angels sleep
by the lilac bush.

Hot chocolate and
gingerbread
cookies with T.V.
