TAKE ME TO TOMORROW

Take me to tomorrow,
Take me there today.
Past has been a failure,
Let future be mine.

I don’t want to lament
What I have wasted.
But I want to preserve
What can still be saved.

Life is too short, in fact.
Let’s forget the past.
Let’s live fully each day,
And the next to come.

I want my tomorrow,
And I want it now.
How you give I don’t know,
I want it somehow.
