momentary solace

This item requires reviews with ratings.
frozen in a single moment like an iceberg
impossible to seize with feeble fingers
grey, mist-covered mountains
impose their splendor as reflections
in the sadness of my blue eyes
rainfall is ever like those faraway tears
contained in this momentary solace
as the afternoon creates the shadows of evening
as the moonlight fades into the hope of morning
and I realize that the simplicity of rainbows
arching from here to infinity’s dreams
have forgotten my pleas for sanity

momentary solace
