Polluters
Alliterative Poem about Noise Pollution in the Neighborhood
Rated:

by
Avg Rating: (8)
Car engines revving and racing,
Discordant bass thumpings of too loud, car stereos,
Uncaring sunbathers with radios cranked,
Bossy, belligerent children's voices braying,
Bodies and bicycles traipsing and trespassing,
Basketballs pounding the pavement, night and day,
Voyeuristic smokers, standing, constantly staring,
Sinister, cell-phoned silhouettes propped over truck hoods,
Visible cop cars present in this transient community,
Front doors flung open wide in all weathers,
Publicly-viewed relationship breakups in the parking lot,
Acrimonious, aggressive voices arguing into pre-dawn hours,
Disruptive dissonance drifting across the open field....
All these create incessant contamination;
Impolite, inconsiderate, infringing noise polluters,
Raucous, unrestrained, irritating, and intrusive -
These are the Apartment People.
