Most Precious Gift The most precious gift that I'll ever receive, didn't come all fancy with ribbons and bows. And all it required, was that I believe. It released me from all of my earthly woes. Now, how shall I thank you for what you have done? I shall believe in the victory you've won, and soon, very soon, my precious Lord, we'll be, together, forever, for eternity. The rispetto lyric is generally composed of eight hendecasyllabic (11-syllable) lines. In its earliest form the rhyme scheme was usually abababcc. Later, the scheme ababccdd became more prominent, and other variations can also be found.
