Dear Sir:
Per our phone conversation, I submit the following for your perusal.
Change: This ongoing mantra equals yet another twist of the noose strangling our nation. At sixty-three years of age I have reached the limit of my patience regarding the lack of common sense displayed by our system. Understand, this is not stupidity…it is venality, and this makes it imperative I point out a path for addressing all of the social illness this system has produced.
Anytime you ask somebody else to fix the problems of your life…you shall be disappointed with the solution. This mandates a new path be implemented, and yes such a path does exist. As long as we continue to patch holes in a road, which leads to where we do not want to go…, we fail our society.
1. Less than 10% of the population controls 90% of the wealth, and such a construction cannot endure. You would not buy a house built along these lines.
2. In-order to address the change required, some of the resources must be moved back into the foundation. The more money in a broad base of an economy…the stronger is that economy. The stronger is the economy…the stronger is the nation.
3. I have probably lost you at this point for it is obvious I am mentally unbalanced. After all nobody is going to allow these resources to be moved from the roof (top) of our society, back into the foundation.
4. Here is the hook…I have no intention of asking anybody, I fully intend to show how easily it can be done…without permission. Not only can be done, must be done to address the oppressive hopelessness fueling our social illnesses. (Crime, drugs, welfare, teen pregnancy, drop outs) for without addressing the cause, no illness may be cured. Not cancer and not social illness.
5. Not ask anybody? How radical. Not in this nation, where these words are trumpeted to the world, “Government of the people, by the people and for the people”. Less than ten percent control ninety percent, this gives us an advantage of nine to one, plus the above statement about Govt. of the people, and it becomes so simple as to be laughable. Whenever, “We the people”’ decide to finally do our job, and balance this system to be fair and honorable…it is a done deal.
6. As the natural resources of this nation were carelessly handed over to a privileged few, by those we elected to look out for our well being, we are left with only one avenue to accomplish our goals. The economy is that avenue, and I submit a portion of that avenue should and can be ours. Insurance, banking, the necessities of life (Wal-Mart like stores), medical care, and education all must be brought into our control, and applied for our present, and future well being.
7. Well now he’s done it, the fool has dug a hole and buried himself. Too bad I was beginning to hope he wasn’t as crazy as he seemed. Ah, my friends the fat lady has not sung, and it isn’t over until it is over.
8. To perceive a wrong and do nothing…is cowardice, and I for one do not wish to be perceived in such light. I will choose a random figure, (pick any numbers you want…it still works), and show you the only way to change the world to become fair, balanced, and honorable for all humanity.
9. Let me demonstrate the efforts of ten-million people. Ten-million people decide to secure their future, and in so doing change the future of every member of our society. They join together in a neighborly fashion, and each gives one-dollar a moth to achieve their goal, this equals one-hundred, and twenty million dollars a year. Chump change in today’s economy, however is not the twelve dollars a year saved by each individual…it is the usage.
10. One-hundred and twenty million dollars allows these citizens to start their own insurance corporation. Each person receives one share of stock, which is valid for the balance of their life’s, and then is willed back to the company for redistribution (nobody can own more than one share). They insure all the requirements of their life’s, (then they continue doing exactly what they do every day), however at the end of each year the corporate profit percentage is applied to their payments and placed into a retirement account for their future, (fully inheritable, unlike Social Security), well being. We now have an honorable insurance company, whose only concern is the welfare of the people. I should be easy to see that this company will become the largest insurance company in the world.
11. What is the most evil economic rule to ever exist…”Maximize profit for the investor”. This rule removes the humanity from all corporations except this one, for here all investors are equal, and if it is applied it benefits all equally.
12. Clearly, we are not profiting from the other owners…we are retaining a greater portion of our lifetime earnings for our future usage. This moves these profits from the roof of the economy, and makes the foundation stronger. When this approach is applied to the areas I have claimed belong to, We the people”, in one generation we have broadened the economic base, and greatly strengthened our nation. Furthermore, we have provided the economic ability for expansion of our economy, from the foundation up, to include all members of our society (the only way this can ever be done).
13. When this is done, we have addressed causation of social illness, for with hope and inclusion; social illness will recede to its natural level of existence. “All things are meant to exist, however in an unbalanced society they exist in disproportionate percentage”. I like to quote myself. Please forgive me for this literary flaw.
14. If you extrapolate this into the other areas I have claimed for, “We the people”, we should see that over one lifetime, and we have altered the world’s economic structure, and created a far more honorable system. It should also be apparent it does not create equality of life, merely quality of life. Equality of life would stagnate, the system, because there must be incentive to succeed, however imagine the lost creators, and what they may produce if given the opportunity. In reality I see these figures, seventy-percent for, “We the people, (the foundation)”, and thirty percent for the roof, this is fair for they will still be significantly richer than, “We the people”, and that is okay.
Imagine the worlds view of the nation which takes this path…they will not want to fight that nation; they will want to be that nation. Common sense, honor, compassion, and balance, balance, balance.
Well that is it in a nutshell, definitely not a simple chore, but a doable one. I am aware of the complexity; however it is far better to do…than complain. Think about it?

With unconditional love, and respect,
