A Close Call
Too Close For Comfort

A shadow covered me
of a long ago time.
In the shape of a cross
It told of my crime.

As I lay dying
I cried out in fear.
' Accept me dear Jesus"
Now its so clear".

"Please take me with You,
into the light."
"Forgive all my sins"
'For I know you were right"

My soul is leaving me
winging up above.
Thanks to my heavenly Father
for His unending love.
