I wake up smelling the shirt I slept in
My rainy perfume mingled with spicy aftershave It makes me gag reminds me of him and last night. A month later I'm getting out of the shower, I find the perfume I haven't worn since then The sweet water smell for a moment seems combined with sick spice though none is nearby at any rate I see his face I never knew you had a scent Until I went somewhere and you weren't there but I smelled flowers and trees and wanted to touch you I inhaled your false presence, my mood uplifted and hoped it wouldn't make me sick someday.
