DON’T MEDDLE WITH A WOMAN
Don’t meddle with a woman; She can be truly omen Of ill fate, if she decides, That you don’t have bona fides. Every woman needs a space Around her to keep her grace. Trespassers, be on your guard. Disgrace will be your reward. Harken all, the tribe of men: Be respectful to women. As mother, a woman’s face, Truly represents His grace. God could not be everywhere; So He made her to take care, As mother, sister or wife, Of man torn by mental strife. * Written in aabb, 7-7-7-7 format * Initially written as entry 420105 in the book Women’s and Gender Issues, "WOMEN'S AND GENDER ISSUES" * Related poem: DON’T HURT A WOMAN, can be viewed at — http://www2.writing.com/main/books/entry_id/411284 M C Gupta 17 April 2006
