The storm of Grief
This is dealing with a sudden death of one of my childrens friends.

A friend ended his pain at the end of a rope.
Grief sweeps over me like a flood.
Depression, grips my soul tearing at my heart.
Pain rolls down my face in burning rivers.
Anger quickly changes to sadness.

A friend ended it all.
Questions without answers rattle around my mind,
Like a bowling ball in a china hutch,
Nothing seems to be left untouched.

A friend ended his pain.
Carefully I examine every memory,
Looking for the missing pieces,
each memory restored
and yet I still see nothing out of place?
Not even a trace on his face.
Where were the clues?
Was I just blind?

The wind howls,
the rain pouring in rivers,
reflecting each emotion.
