Many moons ago, the rivers were clean and the forest primeval--carefully and gently harvested--was abundant and widespread.
That was before we looked out across the great waters and saw the others arriving in giant boats. We taught them how to survive the harsh winters--and they survived to take from the forest primeval without giving back; to poison and muddy the sparkling waters; to kill and confine us.
