What Will Be Will BE
Past regrets

Dreams come and go,
through the night.
Restless sleep for me.
I sometimes wonder
why they don't,
just go and let me be.

I toss and turn in my bed
wishing I was dead.
It is not right to
haunt me so,
for things you left
unsaid.

You can not change
the way you were.
No love was shown
to me.
You left this world
before you could
change things back
you see!

So here I stand
on shifting sand,
wondering what
to do.
You're gone from me
eternally and what
will be, will be.
