Does Anyone Hear Me?
A childs view of abuse.

This item requires reviews with ratings.
Abuse uses the cloak of darkness
to cover your memories in shame.
You feel as if you are to blame
for things you could not name.

You have no where to run, to shout
in the silence of the night.
Overpowering, the fear reaches out
Shutting your mind off to the sight.

If you only had someone to care
To wipe your tears away.
To give a hug and hold you tight
and battle the fears of the night.

Instead you hug your knees
While praying not to be found.
Alas, you hear the sound
of the belt, come whistling down.
