Anansi's Boys
by Neil Gaiman (CD)
Comments: Well written. Very creative. Funny with a twist of odd. Loved it. Would recommend.

July 12
*Delight*
Insomnia
by Stephen King (B)
Comments: Had to go bad with Stephen King. Not as creepy as his earlier stuff but still very good. Good ending. Would recommend.

July 17
*Bigsmile*
Escaping The Matrix
by Gregory A. Boyd and Al Larson (B)
Comments: This is a good non-fiction Christian spiritual growth book. A must for any Christian! Seeing the movie The Matrix is not required but it does help. Would recommend. I actually worked my way through this book in about 2 years.

July 23
*Bigsmile*
Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows
by J.K. Rowling (B)
Comments: It is a Harry Potter book. Need I say more?

August 13
*Bigsmile*
The Terror
by Dan Simmons (CD)
Comments: Amazing book about the Frankling Expedition through the Northwest Passage. If you like books on CD it would be best to listen to it because the reader John Lee has a captivating voice and has won many awards for voice overs.

August 20
*Rolleyes*
The Red Tent
by Anita Diamant (CD)
Comments: Good historical fiction book but my expectations were more along the Christian part of it and veered away from slightly from what the Bible teaches so I would not recommend it as a Christian book but if you like historical fiction, it would be good.

Neverwhere
by Neil Gaimen (B)
Comments: I am really enjoying books and movies by Neil Gaimen. This was a very good book. Would recommend to anyone who read or saw Stardust.

September 14
*Bigsmile*
The Pact
by Jodi Picoult (B)
Comments: Jodi Picoult is an excellent writer but her books are realistic and sad. I recommend it, along with any of her other books, if you like real-time books. They end sad but they are not depressing. Big difference.

September 15
*Sick*
I Know This Much Is True
by Wally Lamb (B)
Comments: I did not care for this book but it was hard for me to read due to all the mental and abusive aspects of it. If this type of things does not bother you you may enjoy it. I did not. Did not finish it.

Stardust
by Neil Gaimen (CD)
Comments: Okay. Neil Gaimen. What more can I say? Great book and great movie!

I, Elizabeth
by Rosaline Miles (B)
Comments: I am finding I really enjoy historical fiction. This is a wonderful book! A must for any historical fiction or anglo fanatic!

December 10
*Delight*
Pompeii
by Robert Harris (CD)
Comments: Good historical fiction book. I listened to it and it was read by John Lee. I think I enjoyed John Lee's voice more than the book! Good informative book on the destruction of Pompeii.

*Rolleyes*
A Wedding In December
by Anita Shreve (CD)
Comments: It was well written and a good story. I just had a hard time with everyone sleeping or cheating with everyone else.

Most of these books I listened to on unabridged CD's. It is a great way to "read" a book during the long drive times and long road trips. Check out your local library if listening to books interests you.
