While in school long ago
I remember the taunts. The teasing by others, Their voices still haunt. I walked with a limp they mimicked me. Laughing and jeering pointing, you see. I'd go home and cry trying to holding it in Knowing that I had no way to win. Were you unkind to another in school? What was on your mind when you were so cruel? Please stop the cruelty if you are a mother. Teach your children to love one another.
