The Roses Were watching. Centre eyes stared, Peeking from petals As he gazed gleefully At the family portrait. He beamed blissfully, unaware Of the danger lurking behind him. The roses witnessed the spattering blood. Form: Etheree - 10 lines. Syllables: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 Element: Personification. Optional prompt: 'Every movie you watch has a favorite scene. What makes it your favorite and why? Use this as inspiration for your own little tale.' (I sort of used it!)
