Was there ever any who loved as much as we
With so much happiness they could hardly breathe Seemingly flying above the world on angel wings I sing proclaiming my love for thee I am able to soar above the clouds Because no earthly troubles can bring me down For as long as you fly by my side I shall always glide on this blissful ride Feeling intoxication when your eyes are on me I breath in deep the ecstasy Then once your lips linger on mine I gain an unearthly peace of mind So know my guardian angel Who has protected my heart If you ever did me wrong I would surely fall apart My blissful glide would quickly cease And I would plummet to the ground beneath Filled with grief I'd be in the world of lies Where the only thing I'd be able to do is cry
