BEHIND THOSE EYES
Behind those eyes that are deep, There lurks an evil mind That knows only selfishness And, to reason, is blind. Poison flows out of those eyes, They have a captive trance. When they spot a victim they Tantalizingly dance. God save the victim, treated To their love and caress. He is blinded to the loss Of all he did possess. When he has nothing to give, He’s simply discarded. But before throwing, attempts To return are thwarted. Woe to such beauties that are A curse to beauty’s name. The whole of the fair sex they Do verily defame. • Written in abcb, 7-6-7-6 format M C Gupta 11 March 2008
