Hi Mom, it's me
I feel you squeeze my hand
are you there?
I can see your face,
there is no smile in place.

Mom,
can you hear me?
Tears are running down my cheeks,
I fear you'll hear it in my voice.

Mom,
your a great grandma now,
the Garzas have you beat
you know those rabbits
it's Garza's 3 Garcia's 1

Mom,
I am so sorry for all your sorrow,
I wish we still had tomorrow.
Remember the time
we went sailing,
you were so happy and free

Mom,
I miss you
the soldiers are marching
Puerta Vallarta is calling
lets spend some time in
Margaritiaville!

Mom,
you lay like a newborn
with no voice
your face a blank.
where are you mom?
playing on the beach
walking along the track
sitting with you crochet needle in your
always busy hands.

Mom,
I want to be with you
you seem at peace
no more nigthmares
no more lies
no more lonliness, clouding your eyes
I love you mom!
